73 ENGLISH Sauðlauksdalsvatn is located in Vestur-Barðastrandarsýsla, near Patreksfjörður, in the North-Western peninsula of Iceland. The distance from Reykjavík is about 350 km, and 28 km from Patreksfjörður. Taking the shortcut across Breiðafjörður, by the Ferry Baldur, saves approx. 150 km drive.  Sauðlauksdalsvatn covers an area of 0.35 km 2 . No organized campsite is available, but great camping area is at Patreksfjordur with cooking facility and WC. Brown trout and char are the most likely catch, even sea char. Fishing is allowed from early spring, when the ice has melted, to autumn. Cardholders will be contacted at the lake, once they arrive and have started fishing.
