99 ENGLISH Þveit is located in Nesjahreppur, East- Skaftafellssýsla, on the South-East corner of Iceland. The distance from Reykjavík is 450 km and 10 km from Höfn in Hornafjörður. The lake is located close by Highway 1 and easily accessed. The lake covers an area of 0.91 km 2 . Fishing is allowed on the property of Stórulág, comprising about half of the lake. There one might expect to catch sizeable sea char and sea trout, as well as brown trout and char. Fishing is allowed between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. from 1st April to 30th September.
