39 ENGLISH Hredavatn is a nice lake in Borgarbyggd close to the highway, just few minutes from the Bifrost area. From Reykjavik is only 115 km to the lake and about 30 km from Borgarnes. Fishing is allowed in the land of Hredavatn. See the map for further instructions. Bait: Fly, worms and lures. Camping is forbidden but there are several guesthouse and camping services in the area close by. Please don´t leave litter and off-road driving is forbidden. There are many interesting things to see in the area among the famous waterfall Glanni in Nordura river. You can go directly to the lake to fish, but please have your Fishing Card handy when the fishing guard might check for permits. All boating is forbidden.
