ENGLISH Svínavatn is located in Húnavatnshreppur, East- Húnavatnssýsla, near the town of Blönduós. The distance from Reykjavik is about 240 km. Svínavatn’s size is about 12 km 2 . Fishing is only allowed only on the property of the Stóru- Reykir and Stóra-Búrfell farms. Brown trout is the most common catch, yet char can be expected as well. Fishing is allowed from 7.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m., every day between 1st June and 31st August.
