37 ENGLISH Hraunsfjörður is located beyond the Hraunsfjörður dam. You drive the road to Grundarfjordur and find Hraunsfjordur midway between Stykkisholmur and Grundarfjordur. Fishing is allowed in restricted areas only, as allocated by the landlord. Camping is free of charge; however there are no toilets or any other hygiene facilities. It is best to drive the trail at the west side of the lake. Trout and char fishing fishing is quite good. Fishing is allowed from 7 am to 11 pm and during the period of 1st April to 30th September. Please don´t leave litter and off-road driving is forbidden. Fishing from the dam is forbidden 100m from the dam to the west and 20m to the right.
